It includes the imperial cities of Rabat, Fes, Meknes and Tanger – where you will learn about the history of Morocco. During this tour you will enjoy the fascinating landscape on the Mediterranean road to Tetouan and enjoy the dramatic landscape that this area has to offer. You will also visit the blue city of Chefchaouen, and Assilah – and learn about this remote culture.

Arrive at Casablanca Airport – we will meet you at the airport and drive to Casablanca and then on to Rabat. In Casablanca you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside Mecca. On to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here you will see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before you check in to your hotel or riad. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel or riad at the heart of the Medina.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will spend some time in Rabat then start travelling to Asilah. In Rabat, you will visit the Mausoleum , walk the Kasbah Oudaya and see the Hassan Tower.
Most of the drive to Asilah will be by the coast. You will have few stops along the way to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Getting to Asilah during the afternoon, you will check in to your hotel or riad within the Medina.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start exploring the Medina of Asilah. Most of the morning will be spent visiting the alleys of the Medina; and you will enjoy a few visits to the galleries here – where you will see different exhibits explaining the culture of the area and Morocco.
Asilah is known for its annual festival for the arts – most of the walls of the Medina are painted by famous artists from various countries. Your visit includes the Skalla fort where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean. in the afternoon, you will have some free time to explore by yourself. Overnight at hotel or riad.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will leave for Chefchaouen via Tanger. After a short drive you will get to Tanger – “Pearl of Northern Morocco”. You’ll have a short visit to the Medina, the cave of Herculis and cap Spartle, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.
After lunch in Tanger, you will continue your journey over the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Arriving at Chefchaouen in the afternoon to check in to your hotel or riad.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start exploring the Medina and its alleys. Chefchaouen is a beautiful, unique city with its whitewashed walls and its blue doors and windows.
Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore there is much influence from Spanish civilization and architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnight in Hotel or riad.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start travelling to Fes via the town of Ouazzan. After a couple of hours drive arriving in Ouazzan – a beautiful town in the Rif Mountains – you will experience amazing views over the fertile plain of Lukus Valley.
Continuing to Volubilis – the well preserved Roman empire dating to 225BC – where you will see the most beautiful mosaics in Morocco, dating back to 3rd century BC. After the visit to this unique site, you will continue to Fes via the countryside. Overnight accommodation at hotel or riad in Fes.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start an explorative journey of the cultural capital of Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, (the oldest in the region), and the Tanneries.
After lunch, you will visit the ceramic factory and have a panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. During the afternoon we will visit the new city for a drink. Overnight accommodation at hotel or riad in Fes.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start travelling to Ifran, via the cedar forest and on to Meknes. You will be travelling south to Ifran – referred to “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and then to the cedar forest. Here you will have the opportunity to see the Barbary apes in the wild and have the chance to feed them while taking some memorable pictures.
The journey then takes us over the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou – an authentic Berber village. After lunch, we will continue to Meknes. Overnight at Hotel or riad.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will start exploring the Medina of Meknes. This significant city was the capital of Morocco during the reign of Mulay Ismail, thus it is known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco. It is also known as “the walled city”.
You will see the Mausoleum of Mulay Ismail, the Granary, the Sahrij Souani basin and the famous Gate of Bab Mansour. In the afternoon you will have some free time to wander around the square entertained by story tellers, musicians and snake charmers. Overnight at hotel or riad.

After an early breakfast in your hotel or riad, we will drive you to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight. Your tour ends at the airport.
