Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Your journey begins in Casablanca with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world, beautifully set along the Atlantic Ocean. After exploring this architectural masterpiece, continue to Rabat, the capital city, where you will discover landmarks such as Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. In the afternoon, travel north through scenic landscapes to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains, where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast, take some time to further discover Chefchaouen’s tranquil atmosphere before departing toward Volubilis, a remarkably well-preserved Roman archaeological site. Walk among ancient columns and mosaics that tell stories of a distant past. Continue your journey to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities, where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Fes Sightseeing
Dedicate the day to exploring the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco, Fes. Visit the famous Fes el Bali, a UNESCO-listed medina filled with narrow alleys, traditional souks, and historic madrasas. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and the Al Quaraouiyine University, considered one of the oldest universities in the world. Immerse yourself in the city’s unique atmosphere and craftsmanship.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Leave Fes and travel south toward Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and Berber villages, before reaching the breathtaking Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and dramatic scenery. Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
