Day 1: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ameridil – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley
Your journey begins in Ouarzazate with a visit to the historic Kasbah Ameridil, an impressive example of traditional Moroccan architecture. After exploring the kasbah, you will drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses, enjoying the scenic views of blooming rose gardens and nearby Berber villages. Continue along the winding roads of the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and picturesque landscapes. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse in the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart from Dades Valley and head toward the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs ideal for photos and short hikes. Continue through the Berber villages of Erfoud and Rissani before reaching the golden dunes of Merzouga in the Sahara Desert. Here, you will enjoy a camel trek across Erg Chebbi, watch the sunset over the sand dunes, and spend a magical night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Alnif – N’kob – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the desert, then return by camel to Merzouga town. Your journey continues through Rissani, Alnif, and N’kob, passing traditional Berber villages and desert landscapes. Travel along the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and kasbahs, and make stops to admire the scenery. The day concludes in Agdez before returning to Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – High Atlas – Marrakech
On the final day, depart from Ouarzazate toward Marrakech. Stop at the iconic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location. Continue across the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying breathtaking views of valleys, villages, and mountain passes.
