This 3-day journey from Ouarzazate to Fes takes you through Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes. Day 1: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley

Your adventure begins in Ouarzazate, where your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad. You’ll first visit the historic village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed site famous for its traditional clay architecture and cinematic appearances. After exploring the village, the journey continues through the scenic palm groves of Skoura and the fragrant Valley of Roses. The route then takes you along the winding roads of the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and Berber villages. Overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, you will drive toward the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs perfect for photography and short hikes. Continue your journey through small Berber villages, passing Erfoud and Rissani, to reach the edge of the Sahara Desert. In Merzouga, you will enjoy a camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes, arriving at a desert camp to watch the sunset and experience a magical night under the stars. Dinner and overnight stay at the desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the desert dunes, then return by camel to Merzouga. The journey continues through the Ziz Valley with panoramic views, followed by a drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt for lunch. Travel through the cedar forests near Azrou, where Barbary monkeys can be seen in their natural habitat. Stop briefly in Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes in the evening, concluding your 3-day desert adventure.
